On summer Fridays it's open house at The Red House. You can explore the house Britten shared with Pears at your own pace, and we also offer a selection of free events. As on other days there's also: Britten's studio; an engaging exhibition for all ages on the man and his music; our 2014 temporary exhibition Conscientious objections: Britten's pacifist works; the historic library; and the gardens.

Today the site opens 2-5pm. Admission free, but parking is £5. (See website for details of our free minibus shuttle.)
