    The Choir of St John's come out of their stalls to present a feast of choral and organ music including Hymn to St Cecilia, Rejoice in the Lamb and Britten's seldom-performed Jubilate, alongside other choral and organ works by Finzi, Copland, Tippet and Bridge. 7.30pm. Tickets £8/£5 available from the Cornerstone Bookshop or on the door.

    We mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Benjamin Britten with his powerful and evocative Four Sea Interludes. We also welcome the RLPOʼs Gethyn Jones to play one of the greatest, and arguably the best-known of Cello Concertos, by fellow Briton Edward Elgar.

    We have an exciting programme for Britten 100. This programme celebrates not just Britten but the whole principle of amateur community orchestras, including two new works by local composer Chris Brown - Rhapsodic - a violin concerto written for our conductor Wendy Staal, and 'Bridge of Bows' for String Orchestra and Bell - written in celebration of Britten 100.

    Eine lebenslange Freundschaft verband die in Darmstadt unvergessene Prinzessin Margaret von Hessen und bei Rhein mit Benjamin Britten, dem bedeutendsten englischen Komponisten des 20. Jahrhunderts. Deshalb widmen wir ihr dieses besondere Konzert mit einem der großartigsten Werke Brittens, seiner „Spring Symphony“. An ihre Seite stellen wir das Faurés Requiem.
    Dieses Konzert wird ermöglicht durch den Kulturfonds Frankfurt-Rhein-Main im Rahmen der Schwerpunktreihe "Internationalität".

    An evening recital following the famous 'Well Dressing' featuring Lisa Cassidy, soprano and William Fergusson, piano. To celebrate Britten's centenary Lisa has designed a thrilling programme ranging from some of the best works of Britten to other greats including Cage, Barber and Berkeley.

    A mini-bus transfer picks up from Didcot rail station to reach Dorchester in time for the concert, see EMF website.
    There is also parking in Dorchester village. The mini-bus then transfers to Radley College for the following concert, which features Britten's _Variations on a Theme by Frank Bridge'.

    The venue is easily accessible by car and there is parking on the premises.
